Summary:
You instantly start in town upon starting the game, there were no introduction whatsoever.
The professor in the town asks you whether or not you want to go on a journey, upon accepting he tells you to go meet a person called 'Budgie' on the island of Mukaia, not much else happens in the game afterwards.
There were several event errors in the game. You had to press the confirmation key everytime you were standing on a warp (as it was not set to be executed upon the hero touching it) While the idea of executing voices when you are engaging in chatter with the NPCs would add a little more spark to the game, the Diablo sounds did not really fit into the game. When I fought against the gym leader, I did not have any Pokemon, instead I ended up defeating him because my character somehow used a lightning attack on his Pokemon.
The hero charset had a gray outline, which is commonly present when the translucent color has not been set to gray, which it should of.
Hopefully a more elaborated version will be released next time.

Pokemon Treasures brings you two new regions, Taion and Hohpo to explore, as well as the old region Johto of G/S/C. Over 100 new Pokemon to catch, breed, train, compete against your friends and new Berries, and new Trainers. It is a game you should not miss when it is released.
Interview by: Avatar
Interviewed: Mattgcn, Dodo
Avatar: How long have Pokemon Treasures been under development?
Mattgcn: Since October of 2003..long time ago
Mattgcn: It started out when PO was first announced in what I believe was the fan-sprites board at Serebii. There was a sudden boom of games.
Avatar: What is the main reason behind the creation of Pokemon Treasures?
Mattgcn: Shadolf, the creator, thought it would be a good idea and rounded up a bunch of members to create the game.
Mattgcn: I believe it is the only one to have lived over the ban of fan-games in the forum, since when I joined I had suggested to Shadolf we create forums.
Avatar: What program or language is it being developed in?
Dodo: We were hoping to use the PO engine once it finishes, but now, it seems unlikely that the engine is going to be completed anytime soon
Dodo: We have several ideas
Mattgcn: Yeah, since the recent bail of the Pokemon Online engine, FMY, our webmaster and head scripter decided to try for hard programming using the Python language and the pygame library.
Mattgcn: This of course brought up a bit of critisism among a few people, who noted the general lack of progress around PT in the programming sector
Avatar: What made you choose to program it in Python?
Mattgcn: Python is a very flexible language in the gaming sector, since it can run on many platforms, and allowing us to implement many of our ideas.
Avatar: What are the planned features for full release of Pokemon Treasures?
Mattgcn: Features...We have got a bunch of little ideas, not very many fully planned features yet. Though we are willing to work hard to get the MMO section of it working..Since that is our key point of interest
Mattgcn: One idea for a feature I've toyed around with is basically to meld old game gadgets into one for simplicity. Simple if we could get all those to work of course
Avatar: Did the team have trouble thinking up all the custom content in the game? Such as the Pokemon?
Mattgcn: Well, early on, Dodo had her little series of fake Pokemon images that were created into concepts for new ones
Mattgcn: Pokemon were things developed early on in the game's life, and reworked many times over since then. Even now ideas are being scrapped, retooled and new ones are being added
Avatar: What platforms are you going to release Pokemon Treasures on?
Mattgcn: Well, since our userbase at the forums run on all three platforms, we will be attempting to port to both Mac and Linux as well as have it run on Windows XP
Mattgcn: This is mainly due to our only two programmers, FMY and BonzaiRob running on non-Windows platforms
Avatar: Can you give an estimate on your progress of development on Pokemon Treasures?
Mattgcn: Well, our development so far has been in spriting and stats.
Mattgcn: Pokemon and trainers have nearly complete sprite sets.
Mattgcn: And stats, we've been working very hard to get move stats done. Pokemon are pretty much done.
Avatar: Do you have any final comments regarding this interview and Pokemon Treasures?
Mattgcn: Well, it was very nice to get out in the open the story behind our game. Since I'm doing this interview on behalf of the entire staff, they're really the ones to thank. I'm just the gopher.
Mattgcn: For PT in general, we have got to thank our inspirations. DeathChill and PO for helping get it started, as well as Fluo and Project Pokemon Creation and the Pokemon Factory for the wealth of ideas they both gave us.
