Pokémon GS/SS (GoldenSky and SilverSea) are two fangames and half-remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver. Currently GS and SS are one and the same game, but they will be split up once the base project is almost finished.

Pokémon GS/SS is a project made by the Dutch game creation team DNA Productions, and the goal is to make a newer and better version of Pokémon Gold and Silver (in Advance style, and with lots of goodies). The project has no connection with the apparently same-named Spanish ROM hacks or the American Project Platinum team game.

Both games are the same, but the difference will consist of the differences found between the original Gold/Silver. The progress is mainly focused on Pokémon GS, from which Pokémon SS is born when the time is there.

Features

Pokémon GS/SS will feature most things that were introduced with the Gameboy Advance Pokémon games. Some of the features are:

• The GBA graphics are used, and the G/S/C exclusive graphics are revamped.
• There will be a new region called Erata-- it's north of Bill's old home!
• There are overall improvements and additions to the game.
• More storyline. This means the original storyline expanded, and new, smaller side-storylines.
• It wil feature about 50-100 of the third generation Pokémon, next to the G/S/C 251. There will be NO DS generation Pokémon and NO custom self-made Pokémon.
• Trading! Done over the internet.

We are still unsure about the following features:

• Weather conditions (not including day/night, that's already implemented)
• Extra berry mixing
• Tutorial TV
• That device which lets you battle earlier beaten foes

Most other things will be implemented.
