What is Project Platinum?:

G/S/C remake using FR/LG sprites and sprite styles. Not R/S/E, not Diamond/Pearl.

What can you play it on?:

Computer, because putting it on GBA, DS or Wii would be illegal and we'd get our arses handed to us by Nintendo on a silver platter. With mushrooms.
Also, it is not a rom hack. It is a fanmade game designed completely from the ground up in GameMaker.

Will it cost money?:

Again, this is a legality issue. Fortunately for you, this means the game will be a free download.

When is it coming out?:

We don't really know, because we haven't ever set ourselves a due date, or even a deadline for that matter. My best guess is late 2007 or anytime in 2008.

Will there be new Pokémon?:

Yes, there will be Hoenn Pokémon.
No, there will not be Shinou or fanmade Pokémon, no matter how cool you may think they are.

Will you be able to visit Kanto/Hoenn/Orre/Shinou?:

Kanto, yes.
Everything else, no.

Sevii Islands?:

No. We have Irafas Isles instead.

Can I be a trainer in the game?:

Unless you've contributed a great deal to the devlopement of the game, no.
And don't think you can just submit a bunch of poorly-made sprites and say "Can I be in the game now?" What you submit has to benefit the game in some way, major or minor. If it doesn't, too bad. You're just S.O.L.
